Two appliances were called to Creine Mill Lane North at the Old Tannery in Canterbury at just after 5am today (Thursday).

It is believed they were responding to a fire alarm which been sounding in the early hours of the morning.

It is the same block which witnessed a massive fire on July 4, 2015

That blaze was caused by a faulty heater and destroyed the majority of the block.

It was rebuilt by developer Bellway, which is also carrying out remedial work in all the other flats to prevent a repeat of the devastation caused.
