Bags of rubbish are once again accumulating in the road next to student flats in Oaten Hill.
It has only been a week since Canterbury City Council’s cleaning contractor Serco cleared the spot in Oaten Hill Place.
Last Saturday a massive pile of rubbish next to the building, which is student accommodation for Canterbury Christ Church University, was removed.

Freddie Parsons owns the Oaten Hill Mews Garage opposite and is appalled by its return.
The 66-year-old said: “It’s a disgrace. It’s only a week since they came and cleared the last lot up.
“These students need to be taught what to do with their rubbish. They can’t just leave it in the road.”
Canterbury City Council has been working with universities to try to encourage students to be responsible for their rubbish.
