The owner of a Canterbury kebab shop has been told to remove graffiti blighting the premises.
Vandals have sprayed tags on to the building at the corner of North Lane and St Dunstan’s Street, which had been Westgate Kebabs.
It closed last year and was then the scene of a fire in October.

City council spokesman Leo Whitlock said: “We are aware of the graffiti on this building and are in the process of contacting the owner about its removal. The owner can either do this work himself, or we can do it and charge them.
“Should they not co-operate, we have enforcement powers available to us which would require the owner to remove it, although we hope it wouldn’t come to that.”
