A force spokesman said: “He was arrested on suspicion of assault and robbery and remains in custody at this time while officers continue their enquiries.”
In a separate incident, a mother took to social media to report that her 15-year-old son was attacked in the Dane John Gardens at 4pm on Saturday.
She said a gang of youths had punched him in the face in an unprovoked attack and threatened to bottle him
A man passing by is then understood to have intervened to prevent further violence.
The mum said: “If anyone witnesses any attacks, they really need to be reported. Canterbury seems to be getting more dangerous.”
Police have not said whether the Dane John attack is linked to the other three on Saturday.
