
A cyclist was taken to hospital after being struck by a police car in Canterbury.
The vehicle was on its way to an emergency call when the accident happened at the junction of Old Dover Road and Nunnery Fields at 1.44am on Sunday.
Paramedics were called to the scene and the cyclist was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for treatment.

Police spokesman Sally Smith said: “Dashcam footage of the incident has been reviewed.
“No concerns have been raised in relation to police driving standards.”
