
A robber beat an autistic woman up so he could steal her handbag containing £11.
Lesley Wilson, 69, was punched in the face and kicked as she walked along a path in Maidstione near the County Hall building at 11.45pm on Sunday, May 6
She had just enjoyed an evening listening to music at the town’s Old House at Home pub.

Mrs Wilson, who has autism, was left needing stitches for her wounds. Pubs in the town have started a collection for her.
Police are looking for a man described as “mixed race”, 5ft 6ins tall with black hair and a short beard.
