A Second World War bomb was discovered on land between Herne Bay and Canterbury yesterday afternoon.
Police and an army bomb disposal team attended a building site at Bullockstone Road near Greenhill.
A controlled explosion was carried out at 6.30pm.

Residents may have heard the bang, but were told there was no cause for alarm.
