Archbishop of Canterbury will baptise Prince Louis

Prince Louis is fifth in line to the throne

It’s been quite a year for both the Royal Family and Justin Welby, the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Having overseen the marriage of Prince Harry and Megham Markle in May, he will today baptise Prince Louis.

The 11-week-old, third child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is fifth in line to the throne.

Louis, who was born on St George’s Day, will be dressed in the same gown worn by his older brother and sister, Prince George Princess Charlotte, during their baptisms.

The Archbishop will conduct a small family ceremony in the Chapel Royal at St James’s Palace at 4pm today (Monday).
